Respect The Brand

     What I've learned over these last 8 weeks in this class is, if you have a vision and are driven to be successful there are several platforms for your voice to be heard,

    There's no need to be a millionaire or a big corporate company, in these times with all the social media platforms if used correctly you can be the next well know blogger, or have you own podcast, maybe even become an influencers on YouTube. 

     Networking is the key to business with social media sites like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter there is literally millions of people you have access to. There are groups you can find with people that share the same interests as you. Podcast that you can listen to that are not only entertaining but very useful to learn from as well.

    For the future I would like to get into podcasts and video recording them to add to my YouTube page. There are so many popular podcast now that video record the interviews now so you can watch them and this is genius to me. Everyone might not sit and listen to my podcast on Anchor, but if I had it on multiple platforms, like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram I have a better chance to be seen and heard and build my following as well as my brand. 

    LinkedIn is a platform that I would like to get into using and understanding the value of connecting with others. There's a saying "It's not what you know, it's who you know" and I see opportunity in this platform to connect with the right people in the right place. Whether its in the fashion industry, or I'm looking for my next job to advance my career this site is something that caught my attention that I have not used prior to this class.
